Children's Picture Books - Lara Wood

An angry wizard has put a curse on a young traveller and made him sick. The young man arrives in a village and is bed ridden. Lara, a farm girl, sets out into the woods on a mission to convince the wizard that the young man is innocent of crimes for which he has been accused.

The storyboard is complete, along with five illustrations. The illustrations are dark and the theme has a more serious tone than my other stories, which lends itself to a more realistic visual approach. By realistic, I mean that the characters are well drawn and the models I hire have to be able to express believable emotions to make the characters they portray more powerful. It will take eight months to a year to complete these illustrations and text.
